Community Guidelines

The spirit

WORN is built for people who love their watches. The Wall exists to show real wrists on real days, not to sell, spam, or show off at someone else's expense. The board exists to make the app better, not to argue. Post the way you would want others to post.

You must be 16 or over to take part. Everything you publish carries your @handle and is public: anyone can see it, including people who do not use WORN. Publish accordingly.

The Wall

Each week has a theme. Your wrist check goes up on the Wall as its instant print, the same one the app makes for your Diary, never the raw photograph, its depth map or your location. Post it in one tap from the card at the top of the Wall, or from Point and Wear when the print comes out; a print you held back can go up later from that card. Five prints a day at most. Every print is looked at before it hangs; until then it waits in its sealed envelope.

Open a print and swipe right to like it, left to skip it, or leave a comment underneath, up to 300 characters. Likes count as they land and the number sits beside the heart. You can like your own print, once, like anyone else. The week ends on Sunday at 12 noon US Eastern time. Three prints are sealed in gold: People's Wrist, the most liked; Most Talked About, the one the most people commented on; and Editor's Wrist, the founder's pick. Each earns its owner 35 Credits. The three stay on the Wall the following week.

The Requests board

Anyone with a handle can ask for something: a title and a short note. Everyone votes once per request, your own included, and can take the vote back. You can edit or delete a request you posted. Replies are short and screened before they show. The founder sets each request's status, Open, Considering, Building, Shipped or Declined, and the board prints it. Replies from the founder are marked FOUNDER.

Blunt criticism of the app is welcome. Abuse, spam, advertising, and personal contact details are not, and the screen refuses them.

Do

• ●Share your own wrist. Prints should be of pieces you own and wore that day.
• ●Be respectful. Homages, microbrands, and grails are all welcome here. Gatekeeping is not.
• ●Judge the watch on the wrist, not the wrist, the room or the handle.
• ●Ask for one thing per request, and search the board first; a vote on an existing request counts for more than a duplicate.
• ●Say when an image is generated. A wrist try-on made in WORN is an AI render, not a photograph, and it does not belong on the Wall.

Don't

• ✕Publish nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, hate symbols, or anything illegal
• ✕Harass, bully, threaten, or demean other collectors, on the Wall or on the board
• ✕Spam, advertise, or solicit sales and trades
• ✕Impersonate others or publish watches that are not yours as if they are
• ✕Share counterfeits as authentic, or knowingly post misleading information
• ✕Pass off an AI-generated render as a real photograph
• ✕Publish personal information about yourself or others, including documents, ID cards, payment cards, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses
• ✕Ask friends to like your print, or trade likes

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive members. Both get removed.

How moderation works

Every print is screened before anyone sees it. When you publish, the print is checked automatically by an AI moderator before it can appear on the Wall. The check asks three things: is the image safe, is a wristwatch actually the subject, and is the photograph clear enough to be worth showing. Replies on the board go through the same kind of screen for text.

• ●Unsafe content is refused outright and never appears; the image is deleted.
• ●Off-topic prints, where no watch is the subject, are held for a person to look at.
• ●Blurred, dark or badly framed shots are also held. This is the one place the Wall is a little fussy about photographs. Reshoot in better light and it will go through.
• ●If the check itself fails for any reason, the print or reply is held rather than published. Nothing is ever auto-approved by accident.

A held print shows only to you, with the reason. Screening is automatic and imperfect. It can hold a good print and it can miss a bad one, which is what reporting is for.

Reporting

Open any print, request or reply, tap the menu in the corner, and choose Report. Tell us what is wrong with it. Reports are confidential: the person you reported is not told who filed it, and reporters never see each other.

Three reports from three different people hide the item at once, before anyone has looked at it. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these guidelines, along with the account that posted it where the breach warrants it. You can also email rishab0611@gmail.com if something needs attention faster, or if you would rather not report from inside the App.

Blocking someone

You do not have to wait for us. Open a print, tap the menu, and choose Block. Their prints and comments leave your Wall immediately and stay gone, and on Sunday their likes on your prints are not counted, nor yours on theirs. Blocking is private: the blocked member is never told. The block is kept with your account so it follows you to a new phone; we can see that you blocked someone, never why.

Removing your own work

Open your print, request, reply or comment, tap the menu, and choose Remove or Delete. It leaves the Wall or the board at once, and a print's photo is deleted. The owner of a print can remove any comment under it. If you delete your WORN account, everything you published goes with it: prints, comments, requests, replies, likes and votes.

Credits

Publishing a print earns nothing, and neither does a like, a comment, a request or a vote. The Wall is worth looking at because people publish what they actually wear, not because a print pays. The three Sunday awards are the exception: People's Wrist, Most Talked About and Editor's Wrist each receive 35 Credits, once, when the week closes.

What happens when you break the rules

A first minor slip usually means the print or the request comes down and you hear from us. Serious breaches, harassment, illegal content, counterfeits sold as genuine, like trading, or repeated violations mean losing access to the Community tab, and can mean losing your WORN account. We aim to be fair and light-touch. These rules exist to keep the room worth being in.
